This has been bothering me for ages, so annoying.. Sure you can upload directly from inside davinci resolve but in that case you're unable to set the thumbnail..
I made a video explaining how to fix this as well as published a batch file on github that does it for you
Why a batch file? Well to be fair, If you're uncomfortable using ffmpeg command line and need a program to do it for you in one click, you're probably using windows :)
